Reflections...

I have begun working on my artistic practice again. looking through my old college work I realise that a large part of my process is journaling. this has prompted me to take up writing again and have decided to write a blog which links to and from my work and ideas.

I now have an internet presence which I am pleased about so I need to develop this. I also have a fantastic studio to work in and the continued support of my family and friends.

I looked through my 1st year degree work and this is by far the best work; practical and theory - I can see why I got a 1st for this and lower marks since then. I feel I am now working at that level again. it makes sense that I am happy with life and it has taken me this long to reconnect to myself.

my project proposal for year 1 was quite insightful and I think this is still relevant. I will add a copy and pin one on my wall.

I have recently asked myself some questions that I intend to try and answer to make sense of why I work with what I do and in the way that I do. These will follow in separate posts!
